CLASS 6A HOME LEARNING 25.03.2020
I hope all is going as well as can be expected during this rather unusual situation we all find ourselves in and that you’re not too bored at home!
Well, as it is Wednesday today, you should be looking at completing day 3 of the maths Ten for ten booklet. I hope you managed the first two days ok. Remember to try and work independently – especially on the arithmetic questions- and be prepared to have a go at the reasoning questions too. If you do get stuck and an adult is around, you could ask them for some guidance but remember that the work is meant for you.
If you completed the ‘Moonfleet’ comprehension from Monday then you could have a go at the non-fiction sheet based on the ’Endangered Animals’ text today. As you know, this should take between 20 mins and half an hour.
Don’t forget to keep up with your reading too. Remember to try and aim for at least 20 minutes of sustained reading in a quiet area, if you can find one. Oh, and keep in mind that reading is meant to be a pleasure not a chore.
If you want even more to do, look at the reading book task sheet. It gives you a variety of things to complete based on a favourite book that you have read. Why not give one of those a go?
Thanks to all those who completed the Purple Mash Poster Challenge. I have looked at them all – Well done. Remember to log into your Purple mash page to check for extra work to do!
