Creating our own Blackpool North Pier - but out of newspaper, masking tape and nothing else!

June 28, 2019

Year 2AG were given the hardest challenge of all at the end of STEM week. Using only newspaper and masking tape, they had to work in small groups to create a pier. It had to be free-standing, at least one metre long and 30cms high. The most challenging part was that it had to hold the weight of 10 tomatoes without falling down. A class full of budding engineers managed to get the job done.
