CLASS 4/5J HOME LEARNING 23.03.2020

March 23, 2020

Good morning everybody,

I hope you all had a good weekend. Here are my suggestions for tasks for you to complete today. Most of them are in your home learning pack.

First of all do thirty minutes of quiet reading. Try to read on your own and to a grown up. Ask the grown up to fill in your reading record. Today I would like you to make sure you are reading your book from our reading scheme (the one with the coloured band on the spine.) If you have read it over the weekend then read it again and make sure you understand what has happened.

Then complete your writing task. Today it is to fill in one of your book review sheets. They are loose in your home reading pack.

Have a break and then do some maths. Look at the multiplication sheet at the back of your times table pack. How much can you complete. Then log on to purple mash and try the times table activities. I will be able to see if your scores are improving.

After dinner try to complete the science activity I put in your pack. You could show a grown up the water walk poem we watched. There is a link below. I have also put a link to a PE lesson which you can find on YouTube. I will be doing it with my family as well!

Have a good day, stay in touch on purple mash and I will send you another message tomorrow.

If this doesn't work as a grown up to search for water walk/water aid for you.
