EASTER MESSAGE FROM MRS BOLTON AND FLEUR

Dear Children, Families and Friends of Holy Trinity,

In these very challenging times, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your efforts in keeping yourselves and those around you safe by staying at home and social distancing. I do hope you are all keeping well.

It feels strange to be breaking for our Easter holiday without the usual Easter festivities that we have at school. There has been no Easter service, no Easter Garden or Decorated Easter Egg competitions. We are very much missing you all and look forward to being together again at some point in the future.

There will be no work set by teachers over the next 2 weeks as it is the Easter holidays but it would be nice of you were able to do some fun Easter activities. You could still make your Easter Garden or decorate an egg. Fleur has sent you all message below and it would be great if you could do the activities she suggests for Palm Sunday and Easter Day.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my staff who are showing their dedication and commitment to our children and their families by coming into school during this time of lock down, including over the Easter holidays. They are caring for the children of our key workers to enable them to continue to care for others. By coming into school, my staff are putting their own needs after the needs of others by putting themselves at risk. I am overwhelmed by their generosity and community spirit and am incredibly proud to be part of the incredible Holy Trinity team.

Have a good Easter.

I will be praying for all of you.

Stay safe.

Mrs Bolton

Message from Fleur:

This Sunday is Palm Sunday and the diocese and Church of England are encouraging us to create our own palm crosses as we will be unable to distribute them as usual.

So you can be as creative or simple as you like - there are online tutorials and diagrams to help you create a palm cross or you can cut out a cross, and design your own.

When you have done it, put it up in your window as a symbol of unity in our separation.

It would be really lovely if you were able to send me a picture of your crosses so we can put them on line and create a collage for when we are back at church again reminding us about how we came together spiritually on that day.

For our youngsters, if you want to be really creative it would be great to have some Easter gardens, or Easter pictures which again we can use online and when we are back at church.

Please take care of yourselves

Best wishes and my prayers,

Fleur
