Hi year 3 happy Tuesday

Today is international nurses day, at the moment it is particularly important that we show our appreciation to nurses that are working hard and making people better.

Today along with the work in your pack I would like you to write a thank you letter to a nurse to show how much you are thankful for the work they are doing.

If you know a nurse you could send it to them if you don’t I have some friends that would love a letter from you. One called Heather who is working hard and not seeing much of her family because she’s working much more than usual, one called Angela who is a midwife that helps mummy's have their babies safely and my cousin who is called Michaela who looks after peoples hearts when they aren’t working properly.

All these nurses are working with poorly people which means that they themselves are at risk of catching germs and becoming poorly but they carry on helping anyway. If you want to write

your letter and send it me on 2email on purple mash I will make sure they see it.

For maths try and do some activities from your pack and times tables.

Here is a game you could try

Hope you have a good day. Stay safe

Mrs Grady
